Symposium: ‹The Space We Share›
2–6 PM
In collaboration with the Future Architecture Platform.
Co-funded by the Creative Europe Programm of the European Union.
«Access for All» at the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum examines architectural and infrastructural projects in the Brazilian metropolis of São Paulo with a particular focus on how they interweave with and add new qualities to the urban fabric in which they are embedded.
Taking the themes of this show as a starting point, this international symposium (flyer) presents case studies, visionary projects, and research initiatives by young designers from across Europe and beyond who work at the intersection of architecture and public space. Through individual presentations as well as discussion sessions, the event will examine and debate, at different scales, how more inclusive spaces can be created in the city and what role and responsibility architecture has in the provision of such spaces.
