S AM Calls: Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani on Instagram Live
17:00 PM (5 PM) CET
«S AM Calls» is a series of Instagram Live conversations with practitioners and thinkers from the world of architecture on the pressing questions driving the built environment today.
Please join us this Friday, 22 May, at 17:00 (5 PM) CET on our Instagram page (@s_am_basel) for the next «S AM Calls» with Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani. An architect, theorist, and Professor emeritus for the History of Urban Design at the ETH Zurich, Lampugnani is the author of numerous exhibitions and books, many of which have become standards of the genre (such as Architecture and City
Planning in the 20thCentury, 1980). Together with S AM Director Andreas Ruby, he will discuss historic precedents for the current COVID-19 crisis, how cities have adapted and changed in response to pandemics, and what the future might hold for the concept of urban density.
