Herzog & de Meuron was founded in 1978 in Basel. Bernard Tschumi Architects was founded in 1983 in Paris. There are similarities between the protagonists, such as a defining interest in art, but also major differences. In this talk, Bernard Tschumi and Jacques Herzog discuss their understanding of architecture.
