For the first time, Switzerland has its own architecture yearbook. SAY Swiss Architecture Yearbook will be released biennially from 2023 onwards – in English and three national languages. Edited by the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum and the magazine werk, bauen+wohnen.
36 projects were selected by an international jury from over a 100 nominees from every corner of the country, as well as abroad.
But SAY Swiss Architecture Yearbook is more than just a selection of the best: it offers concrete answers to pressing questions of the era, from construction booms to climate change.
An accompanying travelling exhibition will start on the 9/9/2023 at the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum. This will promote discussion of the book's content in Switzerland and abroad, fuelling the debate on Swiss architecture.
